CONTINUING EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT FOR BETTER PUBLIC SERVICE. Regional Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 2 has recently administered the oath-taking of the 24 newly appointed personnel from the PENR Offices of Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and Isabela at the Regional Ecological Park and Training Center in Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.

“Your basic performance will determine your career in the future,” Director Bambalan said as she urged the appointees to improve their competencies attached to their positions.
 
She commended the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (HRMPSB) for facilitating the online application system and the process of recruitment, selection and placement of applicants.
 
Assistant Regional Director for Management Services and HRMPSB chairperson Ismael Manaligod cited the support of the members of the Board. "I thank you for the concerted efforts during the entire deliberation process," Atty. Manaligod said.
PENR Officer of Nueva Vizcaya Giovannie Magat congratulated the appointees. “You are the chosen few so do your best as public servant,” Engr. Magat said.
 
Meanwhile, Quirino PENR Officer Mariam Frances Malana advised the appointees to work hard and be responsible workers.
The mass oathtaking ceremony was also witnessed by DENR key officials, and families and friends of the appointees. It has been regularly conducted as a result of the continuing development of employees since the implementation of Executive Order No. 366 known as the Government Rationalization Plan.#
