YOUTH FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

In the webinar entitled “GEAR UP: Taking Real Actions for the Earth Amidst the Pandemic”, Regional Youth Desk Officer Ralffe C. Concepcion of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region 2 who served as one of the resource speakers encouraged the young participants to make environmental efforts even at home since outdoor activities are limited brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

He discussed both the positive and negative impacts of the pandemic to the environment.

 

“The discussions have reminded us that we need to take actions now to protect our Earth. Even though we are apart, there’s no limit to what we can do,” said Supreme Student Government President Gerilou Bariuan who organized the online activity.
