With the theme, “Pagkakaisa, Pagsasaya at Pagtitipon tungo sa Mapagpalang Bagong Taon," the event was showcased with 'sayaw at awit' performances from Regional Office, Environmental Management Bureau, Mines and Geosciences Bureau, and the five Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Offices of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya.

 

Regional Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan thanked the environment workers for another year of hard work and dedication in performing their duties and responsibilities. "Isang maligayang pasko at masaganang bagong taon sa inyong lahat,” expressed Director Bambalan in her message.

 

A video documentation highlighting the innovations and accomplishments implemented in the region was also presented. These include conferment of DENR as PRIME-HRM Bronze Awardee, online systems development, office improvement, procurement of sea craft, installation of elevator at the regional office, among others.

 

With Rev. Fr. Dante Sabban as officiating priest during the thanksgiving mass, the activity was also attended by MGB Regional Director Mario Ancheta, Assistant Regional Executive Director for Management Services Atty. Ismael Manaligod, Nueva Vizcaya PENR Officer Giovannie Magat, Quirino PENR Officer Mariam Frances Malana, Batanes PENR Officer Victoria Baliuag, and other staff from DENR bureaus and regional and field offices.#
