PLEDGE FOR BETTER PUBLIC SERVICE. "We aim to deliver quality management performance for better public service."
Regional Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 2 underscored this during the oath taking ceremony held yesterday in Tuguegarao City.

"Do your job well," added Dir. Bambalan who administered the oath of office of the twenty-six newly appointed and promoted employees.

As chairperson of the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (HRMPSB), Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Ismael Manaligod encouraged the appointees to be competent in their duties and responsibilities. "Be a contributing employee for the success of the Department," Atty. Manaligod said.

For his part, Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Marcos Dacanay emphasized the strict selection process conducted. "You all deserved your appointments," he said as he reminded the appointees of their commitment to public service.
The regional environment chief also appreciated the effort of the HRMPSB for devising an online job application system.

“The paperless job portal system is useful as it facilitates the assessment and deliberation process in filling up vacant positions. It also promotes public participation because of its wider reach,” she added.

The blended oathtaking of appointed employees was also witnessed by key officials in the regional office and PENR and CENR Offices of Cagayan and Isabela, HRMPSB members, and family members of the appointees.#
