ENR GRADUATES CLASS 106 DALISAY. Another batch of employees of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 2 was trained on ENR Frontline Course (batch 6) on July 25-30, this year at the DENR Ecological Park and Training Center, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.

In the graduation ceremony, DENR Regional Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan conferred the 32 newly-graduates for completing the comprehensive 48-hour learning event which aims to enhance the competencies of employees on basic ENR laws and regulations.

β€œCongratulations graduates for giving your best efforts to complete the course. I hope you can apply all the learnings you got upon return to your respective offices. Always uphold the values of integrity and good behavior as these will carry you to succeed in your chosen career," the regional environment chief emphasized.

RED Bambalan expressed optimism that attending the course will help motivate and transform the learners into better public servants exemplifying utmost commitment and excellence in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities.

She also encouraged the graduates to adhere in technical and management policies and procedures and sustain the initiatives implemented in the region under her leadership which are in accordance with priority thrusts of the Department.

The four-moduled learning event will lead the graduates to appreciate and promote DENR programs and services by heart; participate in taking actions for the environment by learning the different Department's priority programs; and excel in both client satisfaction and service excellence through adopting measures of the organization's quality management system.

The pool of resource persons from DENR spearheaded by RED Bambalan, exhibited active discussions in administrative and technical matters. Participants were impressed of the knowledge and skills they gained from the training as felt in their testimonies.

The graduates are expected to conduct their own action plans in their respective offices as a result of their learning takeaways.

The Administrative Division which is behind the successful conduct of ENR Training Courses that started in CY 2019, is ensuring for the continued learning and development program for all employees in the region in support of the government's Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management. Managing and taking care of the human resources was the first directive of RED Bambalan upon her assumption in Region 2 in June 2020.

She ordered for annual provision of at least one learning event having no employee will be left behind in terms of enhancing individual's functional, organizational, core, and leadership competencies.

To date, a total of 347 personnel have already undergone the ENR Frontline and Basic Courses.

This is in supervision of the active members of the Regional Mobile Training Team composed of Assistant Regional Executive Director for Management Services Ismael Manaligod, Enforcement Division Chief Joel Daquioag and Nueva Vizcaya PENR Officer Giovannie Magat.#
