APPREHENSION OF UNDOCUMENTED FOREST PRODUCTS AND CONVEYANCE. A total of P90,000 worth of undocumented forest products was seized yesterday at the Cagayan Valley Product Monitoring Station in Calitlitan, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.
 
Development Management Officer III Jay Marshal Jasmin, Team Leader of the south exit monitoring station said the white utility van bearing with plate number AMA 7809 loaded with undocumented narra and gmelina furnitures, came from Cauayan City and was heading to San Jose City, Nueva Ecija.
 
The apprehended conveyance and illegal forest products were deposited at the monitoring station for safekeeping pending further legal action to be undertaken.
 
Transportation of timber and other forest products without authority or any legal documents required under forest laws and regulations is punishable under Section 77 of Presidential Decree No. 705 as amended by Executive Order No. 277, s.1987.#
