NEW MANAGEMENT

The turn-over ceremony was held earlier today prior to the Parangal at Pasasalamat Program for ARD Abel. It was administered by Regional Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan and ARD for Technical Services Marcos Dacanay.

 

In her message, Director Bambalan thanked ARD Abel for her commitment and passion as the regional management chief.

Director Bambalan also congratulated Atty. Manaligod for his accomplishments as Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) of Cagayan and challenged him to continue his performance to effectively manage the regional office as well as the five provinces in Region 2.

 

She ordered him to work on the improvement of the records management and procurement systems, accreditation for the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management, and expansion of the Quality Management System certification.

 

“Make a difference in the organization and empower your staff to do things right and to do the right things. Contribute to the improvement of the social, economic and political advancement of DENR Region 2 by improving the implementation of the priority programs of the Department,” RED Bambalan added.

 

Atty. Manaligod expressed his gratitude to the management for trusting his abilities to lead again in the regional office as he was then the chief of the Legal Division prior to his promotion as a PENRO.

 

“I am really excited to work in this capacity with you as we endeavor to contribute to the department’s mandate. I will be your guide to become productive, agile and resilient ENR advocates,” he said.#
