Regional Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan administered the oath taking ceremony with the presence of Assistant Regional Director Marcos Dacanay who is the vice chairperson of the Regional Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board.

 

"Promotion helps alleviate the economic condition of the family. But do not just look at the perks. Please look more at how you can help our organization move forward," Director Bambalan said adding that the higher an employee goes up the organizational ladder, the bigger and more challenging the responsibilities will be.

 

She emphasized merit and fitness, and the competency-based system in the selection process.

 

"I am very particular on quality performance...If those people who are performing will be the ones to be promoted, they will be motivated to do more," she said.

 

Since January this year, a total of 63 appointments have been issued regionwide.#
