ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP. The DENR Regional Executive Director leads the 21 parolees and probationers in a tree planting held within Cagayan's Magapit Protected Landscape.
 
Convicted for violating Presidential Decree 705 or the Forestry Reform Code of the Philippines, they planted 100 Narra (Pterocarpus indicus) seedlings in Barangay San Mariano of Lallo town.
 
RED Bambalan was joined by PENR Officer Ismael T. Manaligod and CENR Officer Aida S. Adap. Forester Robert Adap of the provincial local government and barangay captain George Perciano also participated in the tree planting.#
